Severe quake in Azad Kashmir, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Lahore: Earthquake tremors have been felt in most parts of the country, including Azad Kashmir, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which are expected to cause severe life and financial loss.
There was severe earthquake in many parts of the country, including Azad Kashmir, which was so severe that the panic spread. People came out of buildings, offices, and houses, unifying Kalima Tayyabah.
According to the epicenter, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.8 on the Richter scale and the depth was 10 km while the epicenter was in Mirpur city of Azad Kashmir.
Earthquake hit Bhimber and Mirpur, leaving 50 people buried under the rubble. Several people have been shifted to hospital with injuries while relief operations are underway. The earthquake has caused severe cracks in the roads, causing traffic to collapse.
Lahore: Aerial operation has been temporarily suspended following the worst earthquake in Lahore.
Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Jhelum, Sohawa, Jhang, Sargodha, Samundri, Chiniot, Jindiala Sher Khan, Toba, Gujar Khan, Attock, Okara, Raiwand, Khushab, Jharwan, Federal Capital, Islamabad and various cities of Punjab. I have also felt tremors.
Meanwhile, earthquake tremors were also felt in several areas including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, Haripur, Abbottabad, Swabi, Buner, Swat, Dir, Chitral.
According to reports, earthquake tremors were also felt in Indian Punjab and Delhi.
